How to Unlock the Chairlift in Big Walk
The chairlift is a fast way around the mountain, but it is not an early-game feature. It requires the green key from the Green Tower.
Where the Chairlift Is
According to Screen Hype, the main chairlift station is directly next to the Green Tower. It is a blue structure with a red floor and a key slot ready to go. The key for the chairlift is found at the top of the Green Tower, which is marked on the map.
Unlock Steps
- Reach the Green Tower after the Red Tower section of the island.
- Complete five nearby puzzles: locked room, crane drop, invisible ink memory, minesweeper, and head count. Each one gives a red control panel piece. See Green Tower guide.
- Get the golden key from the back of the panel at the top of the tower.
- Shape it at five key cutters along the mountain route, ending at the chairlift station.
- Power the lift. The finished key opens the station and the chairlift becomes available.
Note: Polygon calls the same lift the ski lift and places the blue station east of the green tower. The wording differs, but the unlock chain is the same: Green Tower puzzles, gourd-shaped collectibles, and five keyholes.
