Five puzzles, one map

Big Walk Red Tower Solutions

The Red Tower looks like an upside-down cone on the hill opposite the gym. Its terminal needs five puzzle rewards before it releases a key, which leads to the map room and the Big View achievement.

Getting There

After the starting area, players reach the gym, meet whiteboards, and learn about radio stations. From the gym, take the path directly opposite that leads uphill to the Red Tower. Inside, climb to the top to find a terminal with a key slot similar to the starting area; it requires five different items.

The Five Puzzle Pieces

From the top of the tower, look toward the shoreline to see all the puzzle locations. Each puzzle rewards one item that goes into a container at the top of the tower. Known Red Tower-area puzzles include:

Finishing the Tower and Unlocking Big View

  1. Collect five items. Complete the five marked puzzles and place all five rewards into the containers at the top.
  2. Take the key downstairs. The terminal gives up a key after all five items are in place.
  3. Shape the key five times. Insert the key into the small slot in front of the Red Tower entrance. The shaping devices are lined up on the path leading down toward the gym. At the final device, you get the proper key.
  4. Open the map room. Use the finished key on the terminal at the top of the blue tunnel with red stairs.
  5. Unlock Big View. Inside the map room, a full-scale diorama shows the whole map with completed areas flagged. On a nearby bench you can find a foldable map and compass that a player can carry.

Achievement: completing this section unlocks the Big View trophy/achievement. Gamerant also notes that wearing a backpack unlocks the separate Big Pack achievement - see Backpack guide.
