Big Walk Yellow Maze Solution
The yellow maze is one of the Red Tower-area puzzles. It rewards a gourd that goes into a container at the top of the Red Tower. The solution below is based on a two-player run, which is the way most groups will see it.
How the Puzzle Works
After entering the yellow maze, the group can go in two directions. The left path leads to a red circular wind-up timer; the right path leads to a green pot with a circular indent in the middle. One player needs to take each path.
Step by Step
- Split up. One player takes the left path to the timer; the other takes the right path to the green pot.
- Pick up the timer. The player on the left path grabs the wind-up timer, which starts a short countdown.
- Pass it through the wall. The player on the right path finds the closest hole in the maze wall and signals. The timer player passes the timer through that hole.
- Grab and place. The player on the right grabs the timer and quickly places it into the indent on the green pot before time runs out.
- Collect the gourd. Both players return to the maze entrance and pick up the gourd that has fallen on the ground.
- Take it to the tower. Carry the gourd back to the top of the Red Tower and place it into one of the containers.
Tip: use proximity voice or a walkie-talkie to coordinate the hand-off. The timer starts as soon as it is picked up, so agree on the hole before grabbing it.
